Questions and answers
Straight answers, including the ones about money and data. If yours is not here, ask an agent directly - every listing has a message box, and they reply.
Looking for how to do something, or want to contact us? Help & contact has step-by-step guides and a form that reaches a person.
Open the listing and pick a time from the agent's calendar. You only ever see slots that agent is genuinely free for, so a confirmed booking is a real appointment rather than a request that might be declined later.
Yes, but only so we can reach you if something changes. Signing up takes an email address and a password, and we do not ask for anything else until you actually need it.
Cancel from My viewings in your dashboard and the agent is told immediately. There is no penalty and no limit - a viewing you cannot make is worth nobody's time.
Message the agent through the listing and say so. The appointment stays as it is; they just need to know who to expect.
The rent is. Deposits, minimum terms and whether utilities are included are all listed under Leasing terms on each property, because those are what actually decide affordability and hiding them until later wastes everyone's afternoon.
Because that is the currency the property is genuinely priced in. The picker in the header converts what you see for comparison - a converted figure is always prefixed with a tilde and carries the original on hover.
No. We are paid by the landlord or vendor. If anyone asks you for a fee to view or apply for a property listed here, tell us.
Create an account as a landlord and you can add listings from your dashboard straight away. An agent or an administrator reviews before anything goes live, which is the step that keeps the site worth browsing.
As soon as it is approved. Once published it is on the search page immediately, in the sitemap within the hour, and in the alerts of anyone whose saved search it matches.
Your dashboard shows views per listing and every viewing request against it. It is deliberately simple: view counts and enquiries are the two numbers that actually predict a sale.
The privacy page carries a real inventory, generated from the application's own schema rather than from a template - it lists what is stored, and what is deliberately not. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking on this site.
Only if you are signed in, and only so the site can show you where you left off. It is one record per property rather than a log of every visit, nobody else can see it, and you can clear it from account settings. Nothing at all is recorded while you are signed out.
Turn off email notifications in account settings, or set any saved search to Never. Transactional messages about a viewing you booked will still reach you, because those are about something you asked for.
Still not answered? Tell an agent what you are actually looking for and they will come back with options - including ones that are not on the site yet.

What I wanted was fewer wasted Saturdays. The viewing calendar means people book a real slot rather than a maybe, and I can see who is coming before I leave the house. Let both flats inside a month.
We had spent two months getting nowhere on our own. I said what we actually needed rather than what we could filter for, and had three places to look at by the Friday - one of which was not even listed yet. We took it.
Knowing what the month actually costs, deposit and all, before I went to see anything meant I stopped looking at places I was never going to take. That saved more time than any filter.
Comparing four places side by side is the thing I did not know I needed. Written down like that, the one we had been arguing about turned out to be the obvious answer.
I had a tenant lined up within nine days of listing. What made the difference was that people arrived having read the terms - nobody turned up expecting a different deposit.
The 360 tour saved me two trips across town. I had already walked the flat twice before I ever stood in it, and the only surprise left was how quiet the street was.
I was doing this from another time zone and could not view anything in person for six weeks. Being able to message about a specific property, and have the whole thread still be there when I picked it back up, made it possible at all.
The thing I did not expect was how straight everyone was about what was wrong with each place. One agent talked me out of a flat I had already decided I wanted. She was right.
